Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement SAP PP and SAP Variant Configuration solutions for configurable products and manufacturing processes.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP VC models involving characteristics, classes, object dependencies, configurable BOMs, routings, and configuration profiles.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to integrate SAP PP and VC with SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP PLM, and other enterprise applications where applicable.
- Troubleshoot and optimize SAP PP/VC configurations to improve system performance, product configurability, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Support testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancement of SAP PP and VC solutions.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience in SAP PP Production Planning and Control for discrete industries.
- Proficiency in SAP PP and SAP Variant Configuration for discrete industries.
- Strong expertise in LO-VC or Advanced Variant Configuration, including configurable materials, characteristics, classes, dependencies, configuration profiles, and BOM/routing integration.
- Experience designing, configuring, and supporting SAP PP and VC solutions for configurable manufacturing processes and complex product variants.
- Experience with software development lifecycle practices, debugging, troubleshooting, system optimization, version control systems, and continuous integration practices.
- Ability to design scalable software solutions using modern frameworks and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- 15 years of full-time education.
