Base Salary

$143k - $266k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead stakeholder engagement, IT strategy development, enterprise architecture definition, modernization road mapping, and technical implementation support for healthcare clients.
  • Lead technical delivery, capture, and proposal lifecycles for federal clients, including solution development and presentations to senior customers.
  • Develop scalable architectures incorporating cloud, cybersecurity, AI, data platforms, interoperability standards, scientific computing, and enterprise IT.
  • Monitor technical delivery and security risks, identify mitigation strategies, and communicate them to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Drive pipeline development, qualify opportunities, support proposals, and help grow healthcare accounts and delivery teams.
  • Advise senior scientific, clinical, public health, life sciences, and IT leaders on healthcare technology programs.
  • Mentor junior architects, engineers, and technical delivery managers and provide career development support.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in technical delivery, enterprise architecture, or systems engineering supporting healthcare or federal health agencies.
  • 5+ years of experience leading technical teams and mentoring architects or engineers.
  • 2+ years of experience leading capture and proposal teams to develop technical solutions.
  • Experience managing technical delivery, capture, and proposal lifecycles for federal clients.
  • Knowledge of federal healthcare organizational structures, mission offices, acquisition pathways, and technology ecosystems.
  • Ability to tailor technical briefings, demonstrations, and architectures for stakeholder decision-making.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
  • Master's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or bioinformatics.
  • Cloud, Cyber, AI, or PMP certification.
  • Preferred experience with high-performance computing, FAIR data practices, data-sharing architectures, cloud-native scientific tools, cybersecurity frameworks, and AI/ML enablement.
  • Preferred experience in healthcare agency business growth, competitive technical solutioning, teaming arrangements, and federal healthcare modernization.
  • Strong communication, strategic thinking, writing, technical translation, proposal, whitepaper, and executive briefing skills.
