Responsibilities
- Own cloud infrastructure across multi-region production environments.
- Design and maintain declarative GitOps deployment workflows with no manual gates.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines focused on developer experience, reliability, and speed.
- Build AI agents, intelligent automation, and agentic workflows for engineering operations.
- Develop automation for provisioning, scaling, observability, and incident response.
- Operate observability systems covering metrics, logs, alerting, dashboards, SLOs/SLIs, and on-call tooling.
- Implement zero-trust secrets management and credential-less authentication patterns.
- Partner with architects and engineering leadership on cloud cost, availability, and performance optimization.
- Build internal tooling and automation to increase engineering velocity.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on DevOps experience in a SaaS product environment.
- Experience designing and building AI agents, agentic workflows, LLM-powered automation, or Model Context Protocol integrations for engineering operations.
- Strong Python and Bash scripting and programming skills; Go is a plus.
- Deep hands-on AWS experience; multi-cloud experience with GCP and Azure is a strong plus.
- Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Helm or Kustomize, KEDA, HPA, and VPA.
- Experience with Terraform, Crossplane, or cloud-native declarative infrastructure tooling.
- Experience with ArgoCD or equivalent GitOps tooling and GitHub Actions or equivalent CI/CD platforms.
- Experience with dynamic secrets injection, IRSA or Workload Identity, and avoiding long-lived credentials.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning, SBOM generation, and supply-chain security using tools such as Trivy, Grype, Syft, or JFrog Xray.
- Solid observability experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK or OpenSearch, and distributed tracing.
- Experience with AI/ML workloads or LLMOps infrastructure is a significant advantage.
- Cost-awareness and FinOps experience, along with clear communication and strong ownership.
