Responsibilities
- Own and evolve cloud infrastructure across multi-region production environments.
- Lead the GitOps deployment model and maintain automated, declarative deployment workflows.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines focused on developer experience, reliability, and speed.
- Design and implement AI agents, agentic workflows, and intelligent automation for engineering operations.
- Develop automation frameworks for provisioning, scaling, observability, and incident response.
- Operate the observability platform, including metrics, logs, alerting, dashboards, SLOs, SLIs, and on-call tooling.
- Champion zero-trust secrets management and credential-less authentication patterns.
- Partner with architects and engineering leadership on cloud cost optimization, availability, and performance.
- Build internal tooling and automation to increase engineering velocity.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience in a SaaS product environment is required.
- Demonstrated experience designing and building AI agents, agentic workflows, LLM-powered automation, or Model Context Protocol integrations for engineering operations is required.
- Strong Python and Bash skills are required; Go is a plus.
- Deep AWS expertise is required; AWS, GCP, and Azure multi-cloud experience is a strong plus.
- Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Helm or Kustomize, KEDA, HPA, and VPA.
- Experience with Terraform, Crossplane, or cloud-native declarative infrastructure tooling.
- Experience with GitOps tooling such as ArgoCD and reusable, scalable, security-hardened CI/CD pipeline templates such as GitHub Actions.
- Experience with dynamic secrets injection, IRSA, Workload Identity, and avoiding long-lived credentials.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning, SBOM generation, and supply-chain security tools including Trivy, Grype, Syft, and JFrog Xray.
- Solid observability experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK or OpenSearch, and distributed tracing.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML workloads or LLMOps infrastructure is a significant advantage.
- Cost-awareness and FinOps experience, strong communication skills, continuous-learning orientation, and a strong ownership mindset.
