Responsibilities
- Design, develop, analyze, document, and support testing of computer software using real-time operating systems.
- Support research, design, documentation, installation, maintenance, and testing of real-time, embedded, and analytical software applications and systems.
- Develop installation and maintenance documentation and procedures.
- Interact with users to define system requirements and necessary modifications.
- Assist experienced engineers with engineering assignments and report progress and status regularly.
- Complete assigned tasks on time while supporting the organization’s mission, values, and culture.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or third-year status minimum in an engineering curriculum.
- Must be enrolled in an accredited university and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Preferred fields include Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering, with undergraduate, master’s, or PhD study preferred.
- Desired skills include C/C++, C#, Python, VxWorks, Green Hills Integrity, Windows, Linux, Visual Studio, embedded software, ARM, DSP, FPGA, image processing, UML, and Microsoft Office.
- Must be willing to learn new technologies.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Requires an active DoD security clearance or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable time after employment begins.
- Must be able to work onsite in Cypress, California.
