Responsibilities
- Provision, monitor, operate, and scale cloud services while maintaining system health, availability, performance, and security.
- Analyze and resolve operational issues, lead incident response, perform root cause analysis, and implement continuous service improvements.
- Design, build, and automate deployment, testing, scalability, and observability processes.
- Develop and maintain standards for computing resource allocation and cloud governance.
- Collaborate with product development teams and cross-train with globally distributed team members.
- Participate in on-call rotations and scheduled maintenance or after-hours work when required.
Requirements
- Proven expertise independently operating and scaling cloud-based platforms and applying DevOps practices in production.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Route 53, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, IAM, ACM, KMS, and VPC.
- Strong expertise in infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline design, scripting, and programming.
- Solid command of Git, Linux, and SUSE.
- Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, systems administration, database administration, and cloud landscape maintenance.
- Understanding of networking, virtualization, internet protocols, observability tooling, and security fundamentals for SaaS multitenant applications.
- Ability to use approved Sovereign Cloud AI tools, including approved Sovereign Cloud agentic AI, in daily work.
- Ability to obtain the required governmental security clearance.
