Base Salary

$144k - $224k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver scalable and resilient systems for the Amazon Connect cloud contact center service.
  • Own software end to end from design and development through testing and operations.
  • Solve complex engineering, algorithmic, and customer problems affecting millions of users.
  • Collaborate with senior technical leaders within the team and across AWS.
  • Build technology involving modern web systems, service-oriented architecture, NoSQL databases, AI, ML, and big data.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
