Base Salary

$205k - $235k/yr

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs for ML-driven features.
Integrate and orchestrate ML models and third-party ML APIs into production systems.
Build data pipelines and infrastructure for model serving and real-time personalization.
Collaborate with product, mobile, and design teams to create user-facing features.
Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of backend systems.
Develop clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Document architectural decisions and implementation details.
Provide input on feature scope and project deliverables.

5+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on backend development.
Experience shipping ML-powered features in a production environment.
Working knowledge of ML concepts like embeddings and recommendation systems.
Hands-on experience integrating ML APIs and services.
Proficiency in Python or another backend language.
Experience with cloud infrastructure and containerized deployments.
Familiarity with data stores and pipelines relevant to ML workloads.
Excellent communication skills and strong collaboration abilities.
Self-starter with analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Computer Science degree or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience as a ML Engineer.
