Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications focused on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Lead the design and development of complex software solutions for cybersecurity applications.
- Oversee and mentor a team of software developers, providing technical guidance and fostering continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with team members, product owners, designers, product managers, security analysts, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Write high-quality, efficient, maintainable code and uphold coding standards through code reviews.
- Contribute to development-process, tooling, and best-practice improvements.
- Develop technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and API documentation.
- Stay current with modern Java development practices, emerging technologies, and cybersecurity industry trends.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with Java/Python and object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with SQL and database systems such as MySQL and Postgres DB.
- Knowledge of AI tools and agent integration.
- Understanding of the CI/CD development lifecycle and hands-on Git version-control experience with GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab.
- Experience with Java build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Experience with testing frameworks and libraries such as JUnit, Mockito, or TestNG.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of IaC, SaaS environment concepts, and queue-based architecture.
- Preferred knowledge of Solr and Snowflake.
- Strong problem-solving, attention-to-detail, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
