Responsibilities
- Design, code, enhance, and maintain custom software components across systems and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software development.
- Build scalable software solutions and data processing and analytics workflows using Databricks and modern development practices.
- Improve software performance and reliability and apply testing and debugging techniques.
- Document software designs, processes, and code for knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Work independently, contribute to team discussions and solutions, and provide guidance to junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong programming skills in languages commonly used with Databricks environments.
- Experience with data processing and analytics workflows within cloud-based platforms.
- Ability to design and implement scalable software solutions using modern development practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development tools.
- Understanding of software testing methodologies and debugging techniques.
- Large Language Models and Generative AI experience are good-to-have qualifications.
