Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, upgrade, harden, and troubleshoot production Kubernetes clusters.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code and automate internal processes and tools.
- Manage secrets and access policies.
- Implement and evolve observability stacks and analyze system logs.
- Define and monitor SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs with product and engineering teams.
- Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and post-mortems.
- Collaborate with development squads on containerization and CI/CD best practices.
- Apply GitOps, cloud infrastructure cost optimization, FinOps, and DevSecOps practices.
Requirements
- Solid production experience deploying, operating, and troubleshooting Kubernetes.
- Experience with software development, containers in production, infrastructure as code, observability, log analysis, GitOps, and multiple cloud providers.
- Proficiency in automation and scripting languages and experience with Pkl for configuration.
- Knowledge of secrets-management tools, SLA/SLO/SLI concepts, SRE reliability culture, FinOps, cloud infrastructure cost optimization, and DevSecOps.
- Experience using generative AI tools in engineering workflows.
- Advanced or fluent English and the ability to communicate and work with multidisciplinary teams.
- Kubernetes and ArgoCD certifications are preferred.
