Responsibilities
- Design, document, build, operate, and optimize highly available, multi-cloud infrastructure and services.
- Own and evolve SaaS platform components running on AWS and GCP.
- Manage and improve observability, monitoring, alerting, performance analysis, and centralized logging systems.
- Identify bottlenecks and manual workflows and automate them into reliable, measurable systems.
- Improve the scalability, cost efficiency, reliability, and stability of cloud components.
- Troubleshoot platform and distributed-system issues and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
- Collaborate across teams to establish engineering best practices and mature processes from ad hoc to repeatable and well documented.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or similar cloud-focused roles.
- Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale automated cloud systems across multiple regions and zones in AWS and GCP.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms, service mesh technologies, observability systems, centralized logging, on-call operations, incident response, and system administration.
- Proficiency with Terraform, Packer, Ansible, Helm, Flux or Argo CD, and Istio.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and/or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, JFrog, VMware, Prometheus, Grafana, and related CI/CD tooling.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including high-availability design, query optimization, and debugging.
- Proven experience operating distributed systems and applying CI/CD best practices.
- Telephony infrastructure experience is a plus.
