Responsibilities
- Provide daily, project-based technical support to Production and Sales under senior-team guidance.
- Assist Project Managers and linguists in troubleshooting translation-process issues.
- Coordinate with Sales and Client Services on pre-sale planning and project quoting.
- Prepare files for localization according to client requirements.
- Automate file analysis, parsing, and filtering.
- Perform QA on translated files.
- Manage and manipulate Translation Memories.
- Validate new features in the CAT tool, TM Server, Analysis Package, and other products.
- Write scripts and macros to automate repetitive Project Manager tasks.
- Report and test fixes for bugs found by product users in collaboration with software Product Managers.
Requirements
- Fluency in English.
- Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Knowledge of computer, scripting, and markup languages including Python, VB, VBA, C++, Perl, ASP, Java, JSP, XML, HTML, and XLIFF.
- High proficiency with the Windows platform.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency with Adobe software.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Team-player attitude and high attention to detail.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Curiosity and desire to improve processes.
