Responsibilities
- Analyze large volumes of data to identify threats and develop real-time detection algorithms.
- Research and develop email threat detections for evolving attack vectors.
- Build, train, evaluate, and optimize machine learning classifiers across email protection products.
- Collaborate with machine learning and software engineers to scale algorithms and deploy them to production.
- Communicate security risks and required remediations clearly in written and oral formats.
- Work independently and collaboratively on specialized assignments.
- Mentor other team members and provide leadership within the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering, or equivalent work experience; an advanced degree is a plus.
- 4–5 years of experience creating and maintaining machine learning models.
- Proven experience developing production-grade machine learning algorithms for practical problems.
- At least 4 years of experience analyzing large structured and unstructured datasets using Python or other relevant languages.
- Strong understanding of probability and supervised and unsupervised learning.
- Experience with Databricks and SQL.
- Cloud architecture experience with AWS or Azure is a plus.
- Deep learning experience is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with MLFlow or other MLOps tools for model deployment and inference is a plus.
- Experience with Identity Access Graph, knowledge graphs, and graph modeling is a plus.
- Cybersecurity experience is a plus.
- Experience using LLMs, RAG systems, and evaluation frameworks for model inference is a plus.
- Strong ownership, collaboration, communication, and customer focus.
