Base Salary

$168k - $262k/yr

Responsibilities

Design and implement backend services, infrastructure, developer productivity tools, and scalable software distribution and deployment solutions.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and operations.
Build and improve automation for the build-to-release lifecycle, including AI-driven quality gates and operational guardrails.
Develop services using AWS infrastructure, including IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, API Gateway, S3, and Bedrock.
Implement fine-grained access control, authentication, authorization, monitoring, and operational excellence practices.
Partner with teams working on low-level embedded software systems for satellite-related solutions.
Mentor engineers and contribute as a technical lead or engineering team lead.

At least 8 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
At least 8 years of programming experience with one or more software programming languages.
At least 5 years leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
Experience as a mentor, technical lead, or engineering team lead.
Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Advanced knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure and services, permissions, IAM roles, authentication, and authorization.
Experience leveraging generative AI for productivity tooling, including Bedrock, Agent Core, and prompt engineering.
Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, or Go is preferred.
A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred.
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, refugee, or asylee under applicable export-control requirements.

Base salary ranges are $193,300-$261,500 annually in Sunnyvale, California, and $168,100-$227,400 annually in Redmond, Washington.
Compensation may include sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
