Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and document internal TypeScript services.
  • Strengthen existing code and implement features such as data feeds, scheduled jobs, and dashboards.
  • Design and implement REST API endpoints, write tests, deploy releases, and fix bugs.
  • Work with Prisma ORM, Postgres, Fastify, React, and other technologies across varied projects.
  • Contribute to process automation, reporting, disaster simulation, and agentic AI initiatives.
  • Partner with stakeholders and local non-technical colleagues while learning the business resilience domain.
  • Organize daily work, take initiative on problems, and communicate proactively.
  • Potentially contribute to the company-wide Salesforce resilience planning tool.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent, current TypeScript skills and experience developing server-side or desktop applications with TypeScript.
  • Some experience developing REST API endpoints.
  • Some web development experience and understanding of basic web technologies.
  • Some experience with relational databases using raw SQL or an ORM.
  • Experience using Git in a collaborative team environment.
  • Comfort with command-line tools.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and evidence-evaluation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred experience developing agentic or prompt-chained AI applications.
  • Preferred experience with React or strong web development skills and the ability to learn new frameworks quickly.
  • Nice-to-have experience in business resilience, Salesforce development or administration, strategy games, gamification, or activities demonstrating a hacker mindset.
