Base Salary
$320k - $485k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, operate, and own Claude-powered security systems for code analysis, vulnerability remediation, and AI-assisted threat modeling.
- Lead secure design reviews and threat modeling for novel AI systems and identify risks across agentic architectures.
- Evolve the public bug bounty program, including automated triage, root-cause analysis, escalations, and corner cases.
- Partner with Product, Infrastructure, and Research teams as an embedded security owner on launches and architecture decisions.
- Participate in an operational rotation covering bounty escalations, incident response, and production launch consultations.
Requirements
- Hands-on application and infrastructure security experience in cloud and containerized environments.
- Production-quality coding ability in at least one of Python, Go, Rust, or TypeScript, with experience building durable systems.
- Practical threat-modeling and vulnerability-identification experience with real-world systems.
- Ability to work autonomously and navigate ambiguous problems with limited specification.
- Strong technical communication skills with engineers and leadership.
- Preferred: 7+ years of application security, security engineering, or security-focused software engineering experience.
- Preferred: experience using LLMs as a core work tool and securing agentic, code-execution, or LLM-integrated systems.
- Preferred: ownership of a bug bounty, vulnerability disclosure, or vulnerability-management program at scale.
- Preferred: experience building security automation or developer-facing security tooling.
- Preferred: offensive security or penetration testing experience.
Benefits
- Annual base salary range of $320,000—$485,000 USD.
