Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain and operations data to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Build dashboard components, ontology-based workflows, and decision-support tools within the decision intelligence platform under experienced FDE guidance.
- Support predictive analytics such as demand forecasting and inventory optimization, plus prescriptive analytics such as scenario planning and decision support.
- Gather and document data requirements from Azure, data lakes, SQL Server, and Excel sources.
- Document methodology, business logic, and assumptions so work is transparent and reusable.
- Participate in sprint planning, standups, demos, and retrospectives.
- Own one scoped summer project end to end and present it to the team and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled full time at an accredited U.S. college or university and pursuing an undergraduate degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Foundational skills in data manipulation and analysis using SQL, Python, or Excel.
- Ability to work in the greater Milwaukee area during Summer 2027.
- Preferred experience includes Python or R coursework or projects, decision intelligence or BI tools, cloud platforms, databases, and coursework in statistics, machine learning, optimization, or operations research.
