Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy multi-step AI agents and autonomous workflows using Amazon Bedrock and LLM orchestration frameworks for alert triage, log summarization, and incident analysis.
- Build and optimize RAG pipelines, semantic search systems, evaluation frameworks, Bedrock Guardrails, and fallback layers over security and operational knowledge sources.
- Develop event-driven security automation, API connectors, telemetry ingestion pipelines, search infrastructure, detection-as-code, configuration-as-code, and orchestration playbooks.
- Package automation and search capabilities into CLI tools, Slack and Teams ChatOps bots, and internal web portals.
- Monitor pipeline health, token consumption, OpenSearch performance, API limits, and compute costs.
- Partner with delivery teams, Sales Engineering, and Account teams to identify bottlenecks, deliver proof-of-values, and accelerate customer adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related technical field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 9+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, security automation, DevSecOps, or applied machine learning engineering, including enterprise-scale AI/ML or GenAI delivery experience.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock, Bedrock APIs, Knowledge Bases, Guardrails, foundation models, and generative AI applications.
- Experience with Amazon OpenSearch Service or OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, log analytics, index management, vector databases, and k-NN search.
- Experience building serverless and event-driven workflows with AWS Lambda, Amazon EventBridge, AWS Step Functions, and Amazon ECS/Fargate.
- Proficiency with Amazon CloudWatch Logs, VPC Flow Logs, AWS CloudTrail, AWS IAM, AWS Secrets Manager, AWS KMS, and AWS security practices.
- Experience with Amazon API Gateway, Amazon SQS, Amazon SNS, Amazon S3, RESTful APIs, webhooks, JSON/YAML, OAuth2, API keys, and mTLS.
- Advanced Python proficiency, including FastAPI, asyncio, Pydantic, Boto3, and OpenSearch-py, plus Bash scripting; Go familiarity is preferred.
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex, semantic search architectures, structured prompt engineering, Docker, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI.
- Understanding of WAF, API security, log correlation, incident lifecycles, and MITRE ATT&CK.
- Preferred experience with Terraform, AWS CDK, Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Kinesis Data Streams, Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose, Amazon Athena, AWS WAF, AWS Network Firewall, AWS Security Hub, and Amazon GuardDuty.
- AWS Security, AWS Solutions Architect, AWS AI Practitioner, AWS Machine Learning Specialty, or GIAC AI Security Automation Engineer certification is preferred.
