Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement new applications and enhancements using TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, React, Cosmos DB, RESTful APIs, and related technologies.
- Own features, modules, and services across the full software development lifecycle.
- Provide technical guidance, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to architectural and technical direction.
- Optimize application performance using monitoring, logging, and metrics.
- Collaborate with development teams, stakeholders, and non-technical partners to support integration and deployment.
- Automate and improve build, testing, and deployment processes.
- Participate in code and design reviews to maintain code quality and coding standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related engineering discipline.
- At least 6 years of professional software development experience, with an emphasis on large-scale cloud-native web applications.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React, HTML, and CSS, including experience with Cosmos DB or a comparable NoSQL database.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Experience with version control systems, agile development practices, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
- Hands-on experience deploying and operating applications on a major cloud platform, preferably Azure, including containerization and infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end automated testing and secure coding practices.
- Preferred qualifications include 8+ years of software development experience and development experience with Python, Postgres, and Django Framework.
- Strong problem-solving, independent working, collaboration, and communication skills.
