Base Salary
$219k - $301k/yr
Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize security risks across the company.
- Lead cross-company workstreams deploying capabilities from multiple security teams to mitigate risk.
- Lead threat modeling and cross-functional initiatives to improve detection and response for complex threats.
- Review security architectures and propose logging, detection, prevention, access-control, and operational-process improvements.
- Build automated response workflows that resolve false positives and provide investigation context.
- Support cross-functional security incident response and drive incident resolution.
- Build logging pipelines using custom datasets and infrastructure.
- Work with policy, legal, asset-owning teams, and leadership to strengthen security standards, governance, and adoption.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in offensive or defensive cyber operations, detection and response engineering, or a similar security engineering role.
- Understanding of managing security risks in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience communicating and influencing across functions to drive solutions.
- Experience delivering executive-level security strategies.
- Engineering experience and the ability to reason about complex technical systems.
- Experience designing systems for responding to external and insider threats.
- B.S. in Computer Science or a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred experience includes threat hunting, offensive security, security-focused software engineering, large-scale system and data-pipeline design, and detection or response tooling development.
- Preferred experience includes integrating AI tools, responsible and ethical AI practices, prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration, and ongoing development of AI skills.

- Base salary of $219,000/year to $301,000/year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
