Responsibilities
- Set direction for architecture, solution design, and technical priorities for the developer platform.
- Drive the platform as a product with focus on user needs, adoption, value creation, quality, and developer experience.
- Create a coherent developer experience across paved paths, self-service, systems, and services, including AI enablement and API discoverability.
- Use data, metrics, and developer feedback to prioritize and continuously improve the platform.
- Coordinate progress across platform teams and stakeholders and translate complex needs, dependencies, and risks into concrete solutions.
- Act as a technical sparring partner for architects and senior developers and build alignment around technical and product direction.
- Own solution design, develop domain knowledge, share knowledge, and improve ways of working across Platform & Developer Enablement.
Requirements
- Relevant education in software development, computer science, software technology, IT engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to take ownership of technical and product decisions and create progress independently.
- Ability to break complex problems into smaller, deliverable, and iteratively evaluable parts.
- Ability to communicate complex technical and strategic topics clearly and at the appropriate time.
- Ability to identify risks and dependencies early and take initiative to address them.
- Strong technical judgment combined with openness to challenge existing solutions, listen, and find shared solutions.
- Product-oriented mindset using feedback, data, and dialogue with developers to prioritize and improve.
- Pragmatic and iterative approach with willingness to work across different technologies and domains.
- Ability to build trust and collaborate across teams, contexts, and organizational levels.
