Responsibilities
- Conduct regular application penetration tests and secure code reviews.
- Design and implement security measures for infrastructure, applications, and data.
- Advise on the setup and maintenance of applications and infrastructure hosted in AWS and Kubernetes.
- Triage monitoring events and participate in incident response activities within the SOC, including occasional 24/7 on-call.
- Automate security auditing processes, including attack infrastructure, Python scripts, and security scanning in GitLab CI.
- Execute threat modeling, red teaming, and offensive security activities.
- Collaborate with security engineers, developers, and IT teams to promote security best practices.
Requirements
- At least one year of application security experience.
- Ability to perform active application security assessments and penetration testing.
- Required development and scripting experience with Python.
- Experience or knowledge of secure system architecture, threat modeling, security engineering, and secure code reviews.
- Preferred experience with AWS or GCP, with Azure as a plus.
- Preferred experience with PHP, JavaScript, Go, Laravel, incident response, web application firewalls, CDN providers, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Security certifications such as OSCP or OSWP are valued.
