Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and development of complex AI and ML-powered product features.
- Design, implement, and maintain evaluation frameworks for continuous ML and AI system improvement.
- Build ML Ops frameworks, user feedback mechanisms, and tooling for systematic model assessment and iteration.
- Scale transaction metadata generation systems to billions of financial transactions and develop personalization features.
- Own the end-to-end development, launch, and maintenance of ML and AI product experiences with cross-functional product teams.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, architectural oversight, and guidance on technical opportunities and best practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in machine learning engineering or data science roles.
- Proven experience designing and implementing production ML systems at consumer technology scale.
- Extensive hands-on experience integrating ML and AI methods into production workflows.
- Experience creating evaluation tooling, user feedback mechanisms, and systems for testing and optimizing LLM-based applications.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python, SQL, and several common ML frameworks.
- Working knowledge of TypeScript is a plus.
- Strong understanding of machine learning methods and software engineering and computer science fundamentals; deep NLP experience is a plus.
- Experience owning the development, launch, and maintenance of scaled ML or AI-powered product experiences.
- Technical leadership, communication, ambiguity management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
