Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and scale backend services and support tools.
- Participate in architectural definition and propose innovative solutions.
- Create automation and tooling to improve scalability and ease of deployment.
- Collaborate directly with multidisciplinary teams to support customers and partners.
- Research tools and services, analyze complex scenarios, and propose new features.
- Work in a DevOps-oriented environment where teams build and maintain their own software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software development, engineering, or a related technical field.
- 2 to 4 years of software engineering experience with Java and/or Go.
- Strong computer science background and ability to learn new programming languages quickly.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale software systems using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Ability to mentor software engineers and guide them toward technical excellence and high-quality code delivery.
- Strong understanding of scalable distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Ability to design solutions that meet performance and scalability requirements.
- Strong collaboration, presentation, and technical communication abilities.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, serverless technologies, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Bonus: open source contributions, build and test automation experience, technical mentorship, and asynchronous programming experience involving streams, event-based flows, task queues, or message queues.
