Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural vision and engineering standards across the full modern web stack.
- Build performant, accessible, and responsive user interfaces with React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Architect distributed web applications using micro frontends, Vite Module Federation, and Nx monorepos managed with pnpm.
- Design API and BFF layers, automated type generation, and integrations with legacy or on-premises systems.
- Implement end-to-end type safety, runtime schema validation, and contract-driven development with Zod.
- Lead unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using Vitest, Playwright, and Mock Service Worker.
- Maintain developer experience and code quality standards with Oxlint, ESLint, Prettier, and Husky.
- Implement progressive rollouts, experimentation, and runtime configuration with LaunchDarkly.
- Own full-stack observability and telemetry using Grafana Faro, Pino, AWS CloudWatch, and Grafana.
- Work with Terraform, AWS infrastructure, and GitLab CI/CD deployment pipelines.
Requirements
- Deep hands-on expertise with React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Proven experience architecting distributed web applications with micro frontends, Vite Module Federation, and Nx monorepos.
- Strong knowledge of Tailwind CSS, React Router, Zustand, and TanStack Query.
- Extensive experience building API and BFF layers with Node.js and Express, including automated type generation and OpenAPI tooling.
- Expertise in end-to-end type safety, runtime schema validation, and contract-driven development using Zod.
- Experience leading full-lifecycle testing across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers.
- Practical experience with progressive rollout strategies, targeted experimentation, and runtime configuration.
- Experience with full-stack observability, telemetry, cloud infrastructure, Terraform, AWS, and automated deployment pipelines.
- Exposure to or knowledge of PHP is advantageous.
- Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams, navigate ambiguity, share knowledge, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
