Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain text-based UI panel solutions, reusable components, and shared libraries.
Translate business and technical requirements into scalable and maintainable software solutions.
Own deliverables through design, implementation, integration, troubleshooting, deployment, and release.
Identify and resolve technical risks, dependencies, defects, and delivery challenges.
Develop automated tests and validation mechanisms for software quality and reliability.
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, testing, release readiness, stabilization, and post-release support.
Collaborate with engineers, technical leads, and project stakeholders to deliver project outcomes.
Share technical knowledge and best practices and mentor junior engineers.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
At least six years of software development experience using object-oriented languages such as C# or .NET.
Experience developing and maintaining desktop or enterprise software applications.
Strong understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and modern software engineering practices.
Experience with source control systems, build processes, software development lifecycle practices, and complex technical troubleshooting.
Ability to deliver project commitments, support software releases, and collaborate across functions.
Preferred experience includes C# desktop development with WPF and MVVM, reusable frameworks or UI components, automated and unit testing, build automation, release management, hardware or instrumentation integration, and API technologies such as gRPC or REST APIs.
Preferred qualifications also include knowledge of UI/UX principles, mentoring experience, Agile or iterative development environments, developer productivity tools, and NI LabVIEW and NI test equipment.
