Responsibilities
- Design and develop L4/L7 load balancers, caching, and other core traffic software for terabyte-scale real-time workloads.
- Build data pipelines and telemetry systems for data-driven traffic control.
- Develop API acceleration and networking services on a multi-cloud traffic platform.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve performance for online traffic.
- Research emerging technologies to improve the efficiency and scalability of traffic processing.
- Build control-plane capabilities, self-service APIs, developer tooling, and supporting infrastructure.
- Develop LLM-based assistants, AI agents, workflow automation, and operations copilots for engineering productivity.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Proficiency developing systems with one or more of Python, Go, Rust, C, or C++, plus strong hands-on Linux experience.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, and DNS network protocols.
- Familiarity with AI/LLM application development, including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, or AI-assisted developer tools.
- Preferred experience developing AI agents, including LLM-powered agents, tool use, multi-agent systems, or agent frameworks.
- Preferred experience developing proxy software such as Nginx or Envoy.
- Preferred familiarity with HTTP/2, HTTP/3 (QUIC), and TLS 1.3.
