Responsibilities

  • Work with AMD architecture specialists to improve future products.
  • Use data-driven analysis to target software and performance optimization efforts.
  • Develop primarily in U-Boot and OP-TEE.
  • Participate in new ASIC and hardware bring-up activities.
  • Debug and fix existing issues and research more efficient technical solutions.
  • Track software and hardware trends related to algorithms and architecture.
  • Build technical relationships with peers and partners.

Requirements

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in U-Boot driver development, OP-TEE driver development, Linux driver development, or embedded driver development.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience programming in C.
  • Strong system-level knowledge of ARM-based SoCs.
  • Good debugging skills.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Scripting experience and familiarity with PetaLinux, Vivado, and Vitis are advantageous.
  • Experience with debuggers, source code control systems such as GitHub, and profilers is a plus.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
