Responsibilities
- Design, code, and enhance custom software components across systems and applications.
- Develop scalable, high-performing software solutions tailored to business needs.
- Use Databricks to support distributed computing, big data processing, and data engineering workflows.
- Optimize data workflows and improve system performance.
- Act as a subject matter expert and contribute to team and cross-team decisions.
- Lead process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members and coordinate cross-functional communication.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Proficiency in the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Experience with distributed computing and big data processing concepts.
- Strong knowledge of data engineering principles and cloud-based data solutions.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and agile project management.
- Ability to optimize data workflows and improve system performance.
- PySpark experience is preferred.
