Responsibilities

Provision, install, configure, operate, and maintain version control, build, and continuous integration systems.
Develop, provision, test, and maintain application deployment automation and orchestration across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
Partner with development teams to diagnose server, networking, configuration, deployment, application, performance, event, and system-log issues.
Use AWS and Azure to develop new tooling and migrate existing tooling, including Infrastructure as Code with AWS CloudFormation and Azure ARM templates.
Manage and evaluate monitoring platforms, maintain SLAs, and support troubleshooting and operational analysis.
Manage AWS RDS, Azure PaaS databases, Redis, Service Bus, and relational and non-relational databases.
Provide guidance on DevOps processes and technical and pipeline standards and assist with datacenter system expansion planning.

Relevant experience with cloud technologies, especially AWS or Microsoft Azure.
Extensive experience with CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins, Pipeline as Code, and Concourse.
Strong practical knowledge of Unix shell scripting, Java, Python, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience with AWS CloudFormation, Azure ARM templates, Terraform, or CloudFormation YAML scripting.
Experience managing AWS RDS, Azure PaaS databases, Redis, Service Bus, and at least two of SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, networking technologies, load balancers, firewalls, VIP, and DNS.
Experience with APM monitoring tools, PowerShell, Active Directory Domain Services, SQL database backups and restores, network security, ELK Stack, and Azure DevOps Services.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to provide guidance on DevOps processes and technical standards.
Familiarity with Agile methodology and Confluence documentation.
