Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, document, deploy, and operate components of the Talent Development platform.
  • Build reliable, scalable, distributed, multi-tiered, and multi-threaded software systems.
  • Own feature design and development for personalized onboarding, upskilling, professional development, and career advancement experiences.
  • Partner with software developers, data engineers, data scientists, and learning scientists to address questions about learning and growth.
  • Establish high standards for software quality, reliability, and the full software development lifecycle.
  • Contribute strategically and tactically in a high-visibility greenfield platform environment.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
