Responsibilities
- Help build and maintain infrastructure while identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Support and improve deployment pipelines alongside developers and senior DevOps engineers.
- Monitor infrastructure and help investigate and resolve abnormalities.
- Assist with operational administration, system and data backup, disaster recovery, and security and performance monitoring.
- Deploy applications using automation and configuration management tools with team support.
- Learn, apply, and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
Requirements
- Genuine interest in DevOps and strong willingness to learn.
- Comfort working with Linux environments.
- Basic familiarity with Git and version control.
- High-level understanding of configuration management and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Chef, and Puppet; hands-on experience is a plus.
- Awareness of CI/CD concepts and pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Some exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Basic understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Curiosity about infrastructure as code, such as Terraform.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid networking fundamentals and basic scripting ability in Bash or Python.
- Awareness of monitoring and log management concepts and tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK Stack.
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
