Base Salary
$175k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive execution and technical excellence across backend projects.
- Set engineering standards, conduct code reviews, and guide architectural decisions.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services in Go.
- Architect distributed systems for high throughput and reliability.
- Optimize backend systems for performance and resilience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate services.
- Enforce secure development practices and maintain code quality.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in backend engineering or distributed systems.
- Strong expertise in Go and building highly concurrent systems.
- Experience designing and operating fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Strong API design and system architecture skills.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Ability to drive projects from concept through production.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.
