Base Salary
$165k - $276k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical direction and architecture of Amplitude’s iOS SDK platform.
- Own the development of core iOS SDKs with a focus on performance and reliability.
- Act as the iOS platform expert for other SDK teams.
- Design shared infrastructure and APIs that scale across multiple iOS SDKs.
- Collaborate with Product and Customer Support to meet customer needs.
- Lead technical discussions and architectural decisions across teams.
- Enhance developer experience through improved APIs, documentation, and tooling.
Requirements
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, particularly in iOS development.
- Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C, with modern iOS APIs experience.
- Experience designing public APIs with a focus on stability and backward compatibility.
- Ability to debug complex issues across various iOS devices and OS versions.
- Familiarity with performance profiling, memory management, and concurrency on iOS.
