Responsibilities
- Create, test, deploy, monitor, and maintain machine learning pipelines.
- Develop novel prototypes and algorithms and improve their accuracy and functionality.
- Perform data exploration, feature extraction, modeling, hyperparameter tuning, experiment tracking, and performance monitoring.
- Apply classification, clustering, anomaly detection, time series forecasting, and traditional or deep learning methods.
- Use Python and SQL to build maintainable analytical and machine learning workflows.
- Evaluate internally generated and third-party solutions and translate application requirements into problem statements.
- Mentor and guide junior to mid-level data scientists and machine learning engineers.
- Explain complex analytical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders and participate in Agile ceremonies.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of relevant work experience; the posting also cites 5+ years of commercial machine learning pipeline experience.
- Strong Python skills and experience writing clean, modular, maintainable code with abstraction, exception handling, and testing.
- Experience with data manipulation, machine learning frameworks, SQL, cloud platforms, and machine learning lifecycle practices.
- Expertise in correlation analysis, classification, clustering, anomaly detection, and time series forecasting using traditional or deep learning approaches.
- Experience supporting, mentoring, and guiding junior to mid-level data scientists and machine learning engineers.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with consideration for related coursework, experience, or extensive related professional experience.
- PhD in a relevant field, networking or telecommunications knowledge, and experience with Dash, Streamlit, or Superset are preferred.
