Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of native iOS and Android mobile applications.
- Serve as a technical lead and mentor for mobile engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive engineering best practices.
- Architect scalable and maintainable mobile solutions integrating with Microsoft Azure services.
- Collaborate with firmware, cloud, and UX teams to deliver cohesive product experiences.
- Own mobile CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and ensure reliable build, test, and release processes.
- Integrate AI and machine learning capabilities, including on-device inference and cloud-based AI services.
- Define mobile architecture patterns and develop reusable component libraries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of professional software development experience, including at least 5 years focused on mobile application development.
- Expert-level iOS development experience with Swift and SwiftUI.
- Strong Android development experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Experience publishing and maintaining applications on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, mobile CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, RESTful APIs, WebSocket, MQTT, Git-based version control, and collaboration tools.
- Experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring engineers, collaborating across functions, and communicating complex technical topics to diverse audiences.
- Preferred qualifications include Copilot and Claude CLI experience, prompt engineering or LLM integration, mobile SDK development, Swift Package Manager or Maven distribution, BLE or IoT communication, HealthKit or HomeKit, mobile security, XCTest, Espresso, Appium, TDD, BDD, and technical leadership or architecture experience.
