Technical Architect - Cloud Migration

Responsibilities

  • Advise existing and prospective customers on technical infrastructure and architecture designs, including hyperscaler and containerized cloud implementations.
  • Plan and execute migrations from on-premises systems to the OpenText Cloud, including private-cloud and SaaS environments, as technical lead.
  • Ensure the quality of internally delivered services from the Center of Excellence and other colleagues.
  • Manage technical customer escalations and coordinate with customers professionally and constructively.
  • Lead internal initiatives for professional-services standardization and knowledge transfer.
  • Support sales and pre-sales bid teams with technical expertise throughout the sales process.

Requirements

  • Relevant completed degree or comparable qualification combined with several years of relevant professional experience.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in IT infrastructure and networking.
  • Excellent knowledge of containerization and cloud technologies.
  • Very good knowledge of the OpenText product suite, particularly the OpenText Content Management Platform, OpenText Archive Center, and their integrations.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP Basis, especially ArchiveLink.
  • Ability and willingness to continuously learn new topics and technologies.
  • Strategic planning skills to drive customer adoption of OpenText technology.
  • Strong time-management skills to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English.
