Base Salary
$158k - $226k/yr
Responsibilities
- Become a resident expert on Netskope's PKI platform.
- Collaborate with PMs and Architects to shape requirements and review designs.
- Design test strategies covering certificate lifecycles, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks using Python, PyTest, and Selenium.
- Automate testing for REST APIs, enrollment workflows, and essential services.
- Validate TLS/mTLS, digital signatures, and encryption protocols.
- Own the quality of features from development to production monitoring.
- Create automated suites for performance, resiliency, and chaos testing.
- Collaborate with SREs, Security Engineers, and Support teams.
- Participate in on-call rotations to solve customer problems.
- Continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and engineering best practices.
- Mentor other engineers and lead the technical direction of the Quality Engineering group.
Requirements
- At least 8 years in software engineering, with 5+ years in SDET roles for cloud apps.
- Expert-level Python skills and experience building scalable frameworks.
- Real-world experience with PyTest, Robot, Selenium, or Playwright.
- Strong background in testing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Solid understanding of PKI, including X.509 Certificates and Certificate Lifecycle Management.
- Experience with security products like SWG, CFW, or Zero Trust platforms.
- Deep understanding of networking basics: TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, and HTTPS.
- Familiarity with identity protocols like OAuth 2.0, SAML, and JWT.
- Track record of validating highly available and secure distributed systems.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Ability to make quality decisions impacting the entire product.
- Proven practical adoption of AI tools for engineering tasks.
