Responsibilities
- Participate in the end-to-end implementation of Certinia PSA and related modules on Salesforce.
- Gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions with implementation partners, stakeholders, and consultants.
- Configure project management, resource management, time and expense, billing, and revenue recognition functionality.
- Develop custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and other Salesforce tools.
- Plan and execute data migration, including mapping, extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Develop integrations between Certinia and other systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
- Support UAT, SIT, defect resolution, post-go-live stabilization, bug fixes, performance tuning, and user support.
- Administer Salesforce and Certinia users, security settings, profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, and page layouts.
- Manage releases and deployments using Change Sets, SFDX, Copado, or similar tools.
- Create technical documentation, monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and support platform stability and scalability.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency with Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
- Expert knowledge of Salesforce declarative tools including Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, Custom Objects and Fields, Record Types, Page Layouts, and Lightning App Builder.
- Hands-on experience with Certinia PSA modules including Projects, Resource Management, Timecards, Expenses, Billing, and Revenue Recognition.
- Experience with Salesforce REST/SOAP APIs, Connected Apps, Named Credentials, Platform Events, and middleware such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Informatica.
- Proficiency with data migration and management tools such as Data Loader, Dataflow, or Informatica.
- Familiarity with SFDX, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment tools such as Copado or Gearset.
- Ability to build complex Salesforce Reports and Dashboards and use Certinia reporting capabilities.
- Understanding of Professional Services processes including project lifecycles, resource planning, time tracking, billing models, and revenue recognition.
- Familiarity with Salesforce security concepts including OWD, Sharing Rules, Profiles, Permission Sets, and Field-Level Security.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, independent working, prioritization, and quality-focused skills.
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, or App Builder are preferred.
- Certinia certifications or training, greenfield Certinia implementation experience, Agile/Scrum experience, Salesforce CPQ, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and SOX compliance knowledge are preferred.
