Responsibilities
- Lead your own project to contribute to machine learning research applicable to Pinterest.
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize data findings to build data-driven models.
- Write clean, efficient, and sustainable code.
- Use machine learning and natural language processing to solve modeling problems.
- Scope and independently solve moderately complex problems.
- Collaborate with your team and seek guidance as needed.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Master's or PhD in Computer Science, ML, NLP, Statistics, Information Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience in machine learning techniques such as ranking, computer vision, and NLP.
- Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, C++, Python) or ML framework (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience in research and solving analytical problems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
