Base Salary
$108k - $149k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and execute manual and automated tests for software features, integrations, enhancements, and system changes.
- Develop, review, and refine test strategies, test plans, standards, procedures, and structured test scenarios.
- Maintain test cases, execution results, defect records, quality metrics, and traceability documentation.
- Analyze test outcomes, defect patterns, and system behavior to identify risks and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to resolve complex technical issues and improve product quality.
- Expand and maintain automated test coverage and participate in software development planning, estimation, and continuous improvement activities.
- Lead or technically guide test automation projects and major testing workstreams with cross-functional coordination.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Significant professional experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, automated test design, and test execution.
- Knowledge of Agile software development and experience working in Agile environments.
- Ability to develop test strategies, analyze requirements, design test coverage, document results, and drive defect resolution.
- Experience working cross-functionally with developers, product teams, and stakeholders on complex systems.
- Preferred experience writing Gherkin test scenarios.
- Preferred familiarity with SmartBear TestComplete.
- Familiarity with functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience developing test automation frameworks and scripts using Python and working knowledge of Python-based testing tools and libraries.
