Responsibilities
- Research, design, and implement computer graphics techniques including depth of field, physically based optical effects, occlusion, and global illumination.
- Optimize shaders for texture bandwidth, fill rate, and ALU performance.
- Debug and profile graphics systems using tools such as Razer and RenderDoc.
- Develop render architecture using modern graphics APIs including Vulkan, Metal, and D3D12.
- Design and implement software for mobile platforms and potentially cross-platform environments.
- Contribute to multithreaded, high-performance, and computational photography systems.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience writing production code.
- Deep knowledge of C++, C++11, and design patterns.
- Demonstrated experience researching, designing, and implementing graphics techniques.
- Experience optimizing shaders and debugging and profiling graphics systems.
- Experience with render architecture and modern graphics APIs such as Vulkan, Metal, and D3D12.
- Solid knowledge of color theory.
- Mobile platform experience.
- Preferred qualifications include cross-platform development, multithreaded architecture design, Intel TBB or OpenMP, graph-based architecture, high-level API design, complex-system testing, 3D data structures and formats, and GPU computing APIs.
