Base Salary
$168k - $247k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and own critical onboard components such as process management and health monitoring.
- Manage the build system using C++ and Python, including cross-compilation for Jetson targets.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and regression testing infrastructure.
- Build and manage the parameterization system, including schema definition and validation.
- Create robotics logging, plotting, and debugging tools to enhance team productivity.
- Collaborate with the simulation team to support SIL/HIL development workflows.
- Define reliability standards for onboard software, including watchdogs and failover mechanisms.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a similar infrastructure role at a robotics company.
- Familiarity with robotics middleware such as ROS2, LCM, or eCal.
- Experience with build systems and package managers like CMake or Bazel.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python, with strong systems-level debugging skills.
- Experience with NVidia Jetson and JetPack.
- A proactive approach to development and a passion for creating new tools.
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
