Responsibilities
- Partner with product, design, and analytics to define problems, write specifications, and shape solutions.
- Build and refine systems supporting acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention.
- Own Android development while contributing to iOS, backend, or web work when appropriate.
- Use AI coding tools and agents for cross-stack code generation, spec-driven development, and faster iteration.
- Run and instrument experiments, including A/B tests, funnels, activation flows, and retention loops.
- Develop scalable architecture and drive application development and testing strategies.
- Ship iterative MVPs while balancing speed, scope, and quality.
- Create unit and UI automation tests and own projects from specification through launch and iteration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent technical experience.
- 4+ years of industry experience building, shipping, and maintaining mobile applications at scale with a strong Android focus.
- Fluency in Kotlin and strong knowledge of Coroutines, Flow, and RxJava.
- Experience with modern Android architectures including MVVM, MVI, MVP, and Clean Architecture, plus Jetpack components.
- Deep understanding of Android UI frameworks, including XML layouts and Jetpack Compose.
- Knowledge of software engineering practices across the full SDLC, including code reviews, Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and mobile release operations.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or ChatGPT.
- Experience with mobile analytics and experimentation tools such as Amplitude, feature flags, and A/B testing frameworks is preferred.
- Familiarity with iOS development, backend development, or web development using React and TypeScript is preferred.
- Strong ownership, communication, cross-functional collaboration, product judgment, and interest in growth experimentation and metrics-driven development.
