Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, validate, and monitor agentic AI solutions in enterprise customer environments.
- Develop AI agents and experiences using prompts, reasoning, tool calls, integrations, and current LLM techniques.
- Own technical components end to end, from architecture selection through observable production deployment.
- Build and integrate data pipelines using Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms.
- Model data, validate pipeline output, and build agent performance dashboards and customer KPI reporting.
- Develop proofs of concept and MVPs that can move from concept to deployment quickly.
- Co-build solutions with customers and partners while providing best practices and enablement.
- Identify platform gaps, edge cases, and field insights for senior engineers and product teams.
- Partner with Deployment Strategists to translate customer challenges into deployable agentic solutions.
- Travel approximately 25% to work directly with customers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering or technical delivery experience; Senior-level candidates require 6–10 years.
- At least one production system experience that demonstrates hands-on engineering capability.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Required prior customer-facing technical delivery experience in consulting, professional services, or forward deployed engineering.
- Fluency in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams and customer architects.
- Ability to produce quality code and evaluate AI outputs rigorously.
- Salesforce platform experience or certifications such as Administrator, Platform Developer I, or Agentforce Specialist is preferred.
- Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, and orchestration patterns is preferred.
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery is preferred.
- Experience in data engineering, platform architecture, or headless deployments is preferred.
