Base Salary
$140k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work on projects of moderate to advanced complexity.
- Develop new modules within the existing Windows application framework.
- Integrate with the Geneva platform for inputs, outputs, reporting, and downstream applications.
- Support the Geneva platform and related environment while working with business users on requests and requirements.
- Test programs before deployment to production to ensure quality and expected results.
- Document and communicate assigned work and progress.
- Resolve production issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
- 5+ years of development experience using C# and the .NET Framework as a full-stack developer.
- Experience building C# console and Windows applications for data processing.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, and database design.
- Experience with design and architectural patterns such as Model-View-Controller (MVC).
- Familiarity or experience with Web API, REST, and SOAP web services.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux and shell scripting.
- Knowledge of hedge funds and investment banking, preferably buy-side operations.
- Experience with object-oriented design in .NET development.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, independent-working, and teamwork skills.
- Preferred experience with trade-flow processes, security-master setup, Geneva Accelerators, Geneva REST APIs, Geneva RSL, SQL reporting, Geneva Data Loader, and XML formats.
