Base Salary

$120k - $145k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Research, architect, develop, modify, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise systems and application software, including DevOps, security, and data analytics solutions.
  • Design and implement secure, scalable, reusable multi-cloud architectures and cloud service delivery models including PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS.
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD pipelines, and automated configuration management using Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitLab.
  • Analyze application cloud readiness and lead migration and modernization initiatives with minimal disruption and improved performance.
  • Develop high availability, disaster recovery, cloud failure recovery, resiliency, scalability, and cost-optimization strategies.
  • Implement cloud-native security services and monitor deployments for vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and threats.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance teams on secure, compliant cloud deployments and enterprise cloud governance.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers and advise cross-functional teams on cloud technologies and solution delivery.

Requirements

  • At least five years of software or cloud development experience, including at least three years in a senior or lead cloud role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Deep hands-on experience with major cloud providers and hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, Java, or similar programming languages for cloud-native development.
  • Expertise with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps and secure software development practices.
  • Proven experience building, deploying, and supporting mission-critical cloud applications.
  • Ability to work onsite five days per week in Huntsville, Alabama, and maintain an active Top Secret clearance.
  • Preferred certifications include IAM/IAT Level 3, CISM, CCSP, CASP, CISSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, and Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect.
  • Preferred experience includes Zero Trust Architecture, serverless technologies, event-driven design patterns, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and ISO 27001.
