Base Salary
$130k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy scalable backend services and infrastructure for Robinhood Wallet, Tokenization, and Web3 platform systems.
- Integrate traditional market infrastructure such as brokerage, ledgers, and corporate actions with on-chain systems, including smart contracts, chain indexers, and DEX trade flows.
- Develop product-facing features and platform enhancements meeting strict correctness and scalability standards.
- Improve system performance, engineering productivity, and risk reduction.
- Collaborate with product, compliance, client, platform teams, and external partners to deliver technical solutions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software development experience.
- Backend development expertise using Go, Python, or Java and a solid understanding of cloud-native architectures.
- Strong understanding of system design, data modeling, and software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience reasoning about correctness-critical systems, including idempotency, reconciliation, and failure modes involving financial assets.
- Demonstrated ownership and end-to-end delivery of high-quality projects in cross-functional environments.
- Ability to simplify complex problems, make sound tradeoffs, and align diverse stakeholders.
- Interest in blockchain fundamentals such as EVM, smart contracts, wallets, and on-chain settlement, or willingness to develop that expertise.
