Responsibilities
- Partner with sales to assess customer networks, capture technical requirements, and design solutions with measurable business outcomes.
- Design, test, and deploy multi-path traffic orchestration systems across satellite and terrestrial customer networks.
- Lead proofs of concept end to end, including success criteria, hardware specifications, installation, configuration, and testing.
- Troubleshoot complex issues with customers, QA, and Engineering teams and own the transition from proof of concept to production.
- Use scripting and DevOps practices for configuration templating, workflow automation, demos, proofs of concept, and repeatable deployments.
- Advise customers on terrestrial and satellite communications best practices and present status updates and health metrics.
- Conduct customer and internal training sessions and workshops on Quvia products and their value proposition.
- Coordinate with sales, product management, systems, engineering, QA, and service delivery teams.
- Maintain comprehensive solution and service documentation and complete project handoffs.
- Manage project plans, stakeholder expectations, action items, workloads, and multiple concurrent tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of network engineering experience across terrestrial and/or satellite communications, including multi-link architecture.
- Deep knowledge of routing and switching, network security, wireless, and datacenter networking.
- Hands-on experience with SDN, multi-vendor SD-WAN, and NGFW platforms such as Fortinet, VMware VeloCloud, Cisco Meraki/Viptela, Cradlepoint/Ericsson, Palo Alto, or similar enterprise solutions.
- Networking-context scripting and DevOps experience, including Python, REST APIs, configuration orchestration, zero-touch provisioning, and workflow automation.
- Experience leading customer-facing proofs of concept, deployments, or migrations in large enterprise environments.
- Ability to translate network requirements and customer pain points into business outcomes for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of virtual infrastructure management using VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or KVM, plus computer hardware and operating systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including confidence leading engineering- and executive-level customer conversations.
- Commercial awareness, project management experience, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Satellite communications systems knowledge and experience is a plus.
- Experience with cloud-hosted networking and security, including Azure- or AWS-hosted NGFW, is a plus.
