Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain frontend applications and scalable web experiences.
- Translate product requirements into functional, efficient, and high-quality frontend code.
- Collaborate with backend, mobile, QA, and product teams on integration, troubleshooting, and delivery.
- Lead and participate in code reviews, frontend chapter initiatives, knowledge sharing, and architectural improvements.
- Define test cases and support automated and manual testing with QA engineers.
- Use CI/CD tools to automate testing and deployment processes.
- Lead or participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and other Scrum activities.
- Mentor team members throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Produce and maintain documentation for development processes, architecture, and code changes.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on frontend development.
- Familiarity with major JavaScript frameworks; React JS experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript, including ES2023 features, asynchronous programming, and concurrent rendering concepts.
- Experience with software development, design, architecture, web application design, and state management solutions.
- Practical knowledge of OOP concepts and SOLID principles.
- Experience with Agile practices, pairing, TDD, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
- Expertise optimizing web performance and Web Vitals, including TTFB, TTI, and FCP.
- Experience with unit and integration testing.
- Understanding of common web application security vulnerabilities and performance issues, including how to debug them.
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices.
- Strong customer focus, communication skills, and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
- Next.js 15 and features such as server components, streaming, and advanced static site generation are a plus.
